I found you thru audiodramatalk announcement section and was intrigued, so I thought I’d check out DEAD MEN DON’T TRAVEL. The type to audio format is interesting. There was enough variety in voicing types to portray all the different characters, and that was a good feature. The clipped nature of mechanical voices is a bit problematic, but nothing that a nearly fully functioning brain can’t hangle. It’s too bad that the sound effects couldn’t be made a bit more “tinny” to go along with the voice sounds, then they would stand out from the sound track a bit less in the mind. I enjoyed listening to this production. I found the concept fresh, a bit edgy, entertaining. The story line was interesting if a bit brief. I think this is a concept that might have legs… even if they are virtual ones.
